Foundations Digital Edition has launched!

Hello Foundations,
We're excited today to be sending out the Digital Edition of Foundations as well as the Foundations Digital Card Deck. If you backed Foundations at the Digital Level or higher, or pre-ordered, you should now have received a BackerKit e-mail with your download link. If you haven't received it please get in touch with us via Kickstarter or [email protected] and we'll make sure you get your copy of the game.

We'd like to thank you all for the support, it's fantastic being able to bring creators projects to life and we're really happy with how Foundations has turned out. We'd love to hear your thoughts on the game and see the worlds you create with it.

Foundations Progress Update

Hi Foundations Backers,
A short update to let you know the Foundations PDF is nearly finished. We're taking the weekend for some finishing touches, including text formatting and proof reading the document. We'll be releasing the Digital Edition of Foundations as well as the Digital Card Deck to all backers and pre-order backers on Monday the 4th of September.
We're really happy to have reached this point on the project. Everything else is still on track as per our last fulfilment update.

Foundations July Progress Update

Hello Foundations backers!
We wanted to update you with the progress of the project so far.
Foundations Digital Edition + Digital Card Deck
The Foundations Digital Edition and Card Deck are currently in their layout stage, with all of the text complete. This includes the additional Joker prompts from the Kickstarter stretch goal. We're currently aiming for the Digital Edition of Foundations and Card Deck to be ready by the end of August. We're relatively confident of this date though we can't promise there wont be a delay on it. The digital files when ready will be distributed via BackerKit to all Kickstarter backers and pre-order backers at Digital Edition Tiers and higher. We'll post a further update on the Kickstarter when this is ready and you'll also get an e-mail update with your files.
Foundations Soft and Hard Cover + Physical Card Deck
Once the Digital files have been completed we're going to transition to printing. We'll be printing the books and card deck externally and expect a 1-2 month turn around on the printing. Once the books have been printed we'll be distributing them which we expect to take another 1-2 months depending on where you are in the world. We'll update you once the books have been sent to print and when they're distributed to you all.
Foundations Chronicle and Map Book
Both the Chronicle and Map Book are also in layout stage. We're aiming to send out Digital Editions of both, alongside the Digital Editions of the Core Book and Card Deck by the end August. The physical versions will be riso-printed in the Leyline Press studio, with the aim to align them with the same timeline as the Foundations Physical Editions and Card Deck, so that they're all ready together for Distribution. We'll update you on these when they're printing and sent out.
Foundations Let's Play Video
Once we've entirely finished distribution on Foundations and you all have your physical or digital copies we'll be producing the Foundations Let's Play Video starring Tom Ana the games creator as they play through a session of Foundations teaching how the game works.
Foundations Custom Map Giveaway
Once Foundations has been distributed to backers and you've all had a chance to play we'll be announcing the Custom Map Giveaway where one lucky backer will get a bespoke map of their choice they designed whilst playing the game.
BackerKit
The majority of you have now filled in your BackerKit and paid any additional postage. If you have yet to do so please do as soon as you can. We are not locking addresses yet but will be doing so closer to fulfilment. If you have yet to receive an e-mail from BackerKit or don't know how to access it please get in touch with us and we can help.
Foundations Pre-Order
Foundations is still available for pre-order. If you pre-order now you'll be first to receive the Digital and Physical editions of the game as soon as they're ready. You can pre-order Foundations here.

Foundations Update

Hi Foundations Backers,
A short update on the progress of the project.
We are still currently on track for our planned fulfilment in August 2023. Foundations is fully written and we're currently working on the art and layout for the new edition of the game as well as the stretch goals you unlocked through the campaign.
If you have any questions please don't hesitate to get in touch. We'll have further updates closer to our planned release of the game to backers.
BackerKit
The majority of you have now filled in your BackerKit and paid any additional postage. If you have yet to do so please do as soon as you can. UKGE
We're going to be at UKGE this coming weekend from 2-4 of June. You can find us at stand 1128 in Hall 2. We'll have a range of our other riso-printed games as well as a preview copy of Salvage Union (a post-apocalyptic Mech TTRPG) which we'll be taking pre-orders on. If you're at the convention please do come and say hello, we're always happy to talk games!
